Red Lion Inn is a Pub-Restaurant-with-rooms affair, but attracts consistently good reviews on TripAdvisor making it the hotel of choice for people arriving in Sidmouth on business, or those just travelling through. The rooms can be accessed without going through the bar and the pub serves a hearty British breakfast, and the lunch and dinner menus feature tasty home-cooked meals and desserts. The three en suite bedrooms are rather basic by modern standards but clean. Very popular with ramblers.
